Professor Júlio Montalvão e Silva, retired Full Professor at Técnico, contributed decisively to the development of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM) and stimulated the interest in Mechanical Design of successive generations of students.
The Jury for this Edition is made up of the following members: Professor Júlio Montalvão e Silva, Professor Manuel Barata Marques, Professor Marco Leite, and Engineer Manuel Cruz.
