DEM's Industry Day 2023
The Industry Day of the Department of Mechanical Engineering will take place on October 31st in the Salão Nobre of Instituto Superior Técnico.
The Industry Day of the Department of Mechanical Engineering will take place on October 31st in the Salão Nobre of Instituto Superior Técnico, bringing together professors, researchers, students and companies from various sectors, with a view to boosting and facilitating future cooperation between DEM and the business community .
In this 2nd edition (download the flyer with program - in Portuguese), collaboration mechanisms for funded projects will be presented, companies will provide pitches with proposed challenges, and MSc and PhD candidates will provide pitches regarding their thesis that are candidates for prizes. DEM's ability to respond to business challenges will also be discussed, and, in round table mode, the challenges of Industry 5.0 will be addressed: sustainability, resilience, human-centric. During the coffee break and lunch it will be possible to find out more about the various projects of our Student Associations and some MSc and PhD theses displayed on posters.
