In this year 2024, the Day of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM) occurs on February 9 at the Centro de Caparide, S. Domingos de Rana.
In this year 2024, the Day of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM) occurs on February 9 at the Centro de Caparide, gathering faculty, researchers and staff of DEM in one more annual meeting dedicated to sharing and debating various themes, embracing research and teaching.
Most especially, the Day of DEM 2024 also welcomes two Professors of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC) of IST: Professor Mário Figueiredo (Scientific Area of Telecommunications) for a Lecture on the impact of Artificial Intelligence, and Professor José Santos-Victor (Scientific Area of Systems, Decision and Control) for a Lecture on the interaction between Departments and Research Units.
