Title: "IBEROMOLDES Group: 50 years making Engineering"

Abstract:

The processing of polymers to produce plastic parts has always been considered a fascinating and complex topic in the world of Mechanical Engineering and, in particular, in the world of fluid flow. When the plastic parts to be produced have to interact with each other, as if it were the functioning of a clock, then the challenge becomes even more interesting. This is what we do at the IBEROMOLDES Group. In order for Iber-Oleff, the group company responsible for the production of parts, to be able to supply air vents, cup holders or other kinematic parts that can cause noise inside vehicles, we need an entire team behind us that knows what it takes to ensure our customers are satisfied and continue to trust us with more projects.

Short Biographic Note:

Gil Braz de Oliveira, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering at IST, specializing in thermodynamics, started his professional career in the AutoEuropa project, where he worked in production planning, production (final assembly) and industrial engineering. In 2006, he accepted the challenge of joining EDINFOR, when it was being bought by the English company LOGICA CMG, where he worked in areas such as document engineering, mobility and airport management. In 2018, he accepted a new challenge from Eng. Joaquim Menezes (President of IBEROMOLDES and member of DEM Advisory Council) and joined the IBEROMOLDES team, becoming responsible for the areas of product development and engineering at Iber-Oleff. He recently moved to the headquarters of the IBEROMOLDES Group, where he coordinates the entire innovation area of the group in conjunction with the various companies.

This is another Seminar of the “Seminars@DEM” cycle.
