Title: "Energy Transition, not Disruption…"

Abstract:

At a time when the need to reduce emissions is unquestionable, how we will achieve this is increasingly questionable. The energy transition that the world, and Europe in particular, is going through, will only achieve its objectives if basic concepts are taken into account, such as respect for technological neutrality, the need to diversify the various energy vectors and technological solutions, safeguarding the security of supply and energy independence of Europe and the different member states, and maximizing the use of local produced raw materials, as sustainable biomass, renewable hydrogen, captured carbon and waste. Furthermore, the sustainability of solutions is essential, in its three aspects: social, economic and environmental.
