Professor Júlio Montalvão e Silva, retired Full Professor at Técnico, contributed decisively to the development of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and stimulated the interest in Mechanical Design of successive generations of students.
The jury of this edition is composed of Professor Júlio Montalvão e Silva, Professor Marco Leite, Engineer Manuel Cruz and Professor Barata Marques.
